Jane Pemberton joins North Castle Partners AS an Operating Advisor

April 2008 - IN 2008, Jane Pemberton joined North Castle AS an Operating Advisor AND CEO IN Residence bringing over 20 years OF senior media, consumer products AND retail experience. Ms. Pemberton recently served AS Worldwide Divisional President OF Gaiam, Inc. (NSDQ: GAIA), a $220 million lifestyle media company dedicated TO personal health AND well-being. She IS credited WITH transforming the former "green" CATALOG company INTO the LEADING multi-channel healthy living lifestyle brand. During her tenure she oversaw the production OF over 500 hours OF award-winning programming, launched 150 branded health & wellness consumer products, built a 68,000-strong retail distribution network AND secured placement OF 5,800 branded store-within-stores. Ms. Pemberton was also responsible FOR revitalizing the Billy Blanks AND Firm brands through Direct Response Television AND the establishment OF paid web communities.

PRIOR corporate positions include President OF The Mommy & Me Company, WHERE her mandate TO monetize this generic NAME FOR parent child classes resulted IN the FIRST-ever line OF experiential children's programming AND products sold TO retailers nationwide. Earlier IN her career, Ms. Pemberton spent 10 years IN senior executive positions AT The Walt Disney Company AND 20th Century Fox.
