Executive Search Professional Joins Leading Private Equity Human Capital Services Firm to Enhance Backable CEO Initiatives
Short Hills, NJ - - Notch Partners, a human capital services firm that helps private equity firms maximize investment returns by cultivating meaningful CEO relationships to source and enable buyout transactions and lead portfolio companies, has added Roger Chen to its growing team of private equity-focused professionals.
The announcement, effective immediately, was made by founders Andrew Thompson and Mei-Mei Tuan.
An executive search veteran with more than 10 years experience in recruitment of CEOs and other senior executives, Chen most recently served as Director of Executive Search for Merrill Lynch & Co where he was responsible for implementing senior-level executive searches across the company's business and functional organizations.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, he served as a Principal with Heidrick & Struggles International, where he executed searches for general management, functional leadership positions and Board members for clients in industries ranging from discrete and process industrial manufacturing to high tech, hospitality, telecommunications, defense and aerospace, media, transportation and business services.
Chen, a native of Hong Kong and a graduate of the Rutgers University School of Business with a Finance degree, brings to Notch Partners diverse industry knowledge and a broad network, deriving from his extensive work with private-equity firms and their portfolio companies, as well as through his numerous assignments with Fortune 500 companies. He began his retained executive search career with a boutique firm that focused on financial services, consumer products and technology verticals.
